Just to make it short for you. what Saroj says in the clip that there was a misunderstanding bet her and Sridevi when Sri saw Beta she called Saroj to her room telling her "Sarojji did u get bored from me?" Saroj said why are u saying so? Sri told her that the other day she saw Dhak Dhak Song from Beta and thought she was giving Madhuri better steps. Saroj told her that Madhuri fully adhere to her and to what she says even if she asked her to remove her pallu (the upper part of the sari) then she wouldnt ask why or no I dont like this (Which is the case with Sridevi who reaced to a stage and didnt like to expose) anyhow she claimes that it was after this conversation they both parted away.
Now let me tell you the story as I was reading the news. Yash Chopra since the Chandni days wanted to throw out Saroj from his movie Chandni and was thinking not to sign her for Lamhe but it was Sridevi who fought for Saroj's dates. Saroj knew that Sridevi has reached a stage where songs and dances doesnt matter for her that much as she was the undisputed Numero Uno and unlike Madhuri who was heavily depending on her dances and songs (As most of her roles were song and dance numbers). What did Saroj do? She was playing priorities, she used to send her assistant to Chaand Ka Tukdaa sets and go and shoot herself with Madhuri. Saawan Kumar director of Chaand Kaa Tukdaa was already furious of Saroj's behaviour of coming late or sending his assistant hence asked Sri that he is going to drop Saroj from his movie. This time Sri didnt defend her and the clash happend. Saroj was thinking that its Sridevi that thrown her out of the movies and they stopped working together.
Last word: Saroj Khan is a very talented choreographer but the industry know that she is not that proffessional and this video that you have seen is a big proof itself of how unprof she is that after years now she is repeating the same old story even after they patched up.
The aim of the video was to promote herself nothing more by saying "Whoever listent to what Im saying he will be the best!!!" Thats truely funny.
Stephen, Sridevi was a super stat and number way before people even know about Saroj Khan. If Saroj Khan's work got recognized its bec of Sridevi's talent. Saroj can claim that she has made Madhuri but she can never ever say that she has made Sridevi. Just Imagine the two actresses without songs and dances. Sridevi's movies will not be effected or the effect is very minimal as we loooove her acting while imagine Madhuri without her songs and dances then what else you can see???
So true Hussain, I completely agree with you. I saw the youtube video and Saroj is CLEARLY telling a lie, she was describing how in Mr. India during the song "Karte hain hum pyar Mr. India se" Saroj said the dance move Sridevi was suppose to do on the beach was bend down put both her hand in the water and wipe her eyes, Saroj claims that Sridevi kept one hand on her and used the other to wipe both eyes. NOT TRUE in the movie Sri did put one hand as she was bending down but then put both hand in the water and wiped both her eyes. What a liar Saroj is....she was disproved in the video. Madhuri of course shows everything she has that is how she got where she is. Saroj wants Sridevi to look bad and unprofessional and make Madhuri more professional....whatever. Sridevi has class and doesn't want to expose herself for a film (like majority of actresses do nowadays, b/c they really don't have acting talent) her acting speaks for itself.
I too agree.... Sridevi is the only actress who can look sexy and glamourous without removing her clothes!!! Even if she is fully cladded in a saree she looks more sexy than today's stars in bikini!!!
