Do u think Anil Kapoor felt strained working with sri coming on to her last movies,it looks so to me, u know that chirpyness he depicts with madhuri just was'nt see any more compare to the mr.India, and the earlier movies.... Another thing is there any Mudjra with sridevi and do u have the video plz upload.
Anil Kapoor has always been a Sridevi fan from the start of her career. And he always prefered her over Madhuri Dixit in many interviews as well. Maybe you wouldnt notice Anil's work much in his movies with Sridevi bec simpely there is Sridevi's presence there where she kills off all her costars (As Salman Khan himself said) and completely overshadow them. You notice him or more of his acting with Madhuri bec Madhuri might not have the same ability as Sri. Pukar is one of the major example!!
When you mention movies like Mr. India, Lamhe, Laadla, Judaai the first name you will think of is Sridevi!!!
while movies like Pukar, Khel, Ram Lakhan, Jamai Raja are Anil Kapoor's movies
Anil gave one of his best performances in his whole career in Lamhe but he was overshadowed by the amazing performance of Sri in the same movie.
Regarding Mujras Sridevi did not give many Mujras and the ones I can tell you:
- Mushkil Hai Mushkil : Sherni 1988: Where it is more of a revenge dance - Tum Jo Parda Rakoge: Gair Kanooni 1989: and this is by far my most favorite as she adds the comedy genre to mujra!!! not only in her expressions but in her dance movements. if you have not watched it before then I would highly recommend it.
There is something wrong with wikipedia list,in winner of national award catagories,sridevi is not mentioned in best actress list(she won for two south indian films one sadma and another hairan as mentioned here)
i m even surprised that she even did not get best actress award for sadma(i m talking abt south version,not hindi sadma,i know in bollywood there was shabana in other 4 catagoreis,but what abt south) An another point as its mentioned here sadma was dubbed into hindi(i think it was made in hindi)
