In fact I saw the actual ad which runs frequently on Asianet channel.
However Sri does not look good at all in the advertisement where she wears gold ornaments. It looks like she has forced herself to be thin and that has taken a toll on her face.
Now they have started another ad where she promotes diamond jewelry. There she once again looks divine. I was happy with that ad.
I was extremely disappointed to hear Madhuri getting a padmashri.. Sri should have received it. What with her having acted in 4 different languages and 200 + films. What was Madhuri's contribution to films this year..A flop Aaaja Nachle. Its sad our sentiments are not shared by a majority outside who think Madhuri to be better than Sridevi.

Definitely, the old war between mads and sri till exists and there is nothing new of the stepmotherly treatement be;ted out to sri..we have become immuned to it now..well what we need to wait and watch is teh comeback film of sri.hope it does wonders for her and put her at a place where othrs can only dream of.
Let them give the awards who ever they want. Sridevi is not affected at all. We got used to many biases in the film industry. If Madhuri was given an award for a role in DTPH over Sri's Mindblowing performance in Judaai or Tabu's amazing role in Virasat then why wouldnt they give her that award too.
By doing so they have degraded their awards. Sridevi shall stay as always untoched and always over the top. She is the true queen of Bollywood.
Dear friends, As a youngster I used to quarrel with people till I was in tears to prove that Sridevi is better than Madhuri Dixit. But as I grew older I found that this is what happens here. People always like made up goodness and sugary smiles and are not at all concerned about the person inside. Believe me, Sridevi is definitely a better human being than any of the people around her. However, people found her to be cool and elusive. Why shouldn't someone play herself? If she wanted Sridevi could pretend to be friendly. But she didn't. She's honest and God knows it. Hey Neel, Whatever you said is completely true. Sri has always been herslef. The shy personality. She hardly even communicated much with Jeetendra with whom she starred in so many films.
Unlike other actresses who claim to be friendly and pretending friendliness. Sri never needed to do so because she knew that her fans are the most loyal fans and do not change becasue she herself is not a climate actress.
Sridevi doesnt need awards. Her recognition and love from her fans is the absolute award she will get. This web site is a tribute for her for the number of years she kept entertaining us with what I consider a true entertainment. Names are changing but La Devi's name shall be always in our hearts.

Dear Neel, Be sure that no matter how much I'm busy I always look at the fans requests and read the forums as well. I appreciate your communication with other fans on this site.
What I have typically noticed is that all Sridevi fans are highly serious of being THE sridevi fan. They are too emotional of their likings towards her and do fight with everyone for her.. as if she's their family member :) I have been one of her such fans.
Madhuri's fans are every other actress's fans as well. The "Casual" fans, who may be more in number (orkut/facebook fanclubs of madhuri are much higher in number than sridevi). But, the aura of Sridevi, the Impact of Sridevi, is just something that can't be compared..
