I am compilining a list of the hit movies of Sridevi. For some movies like Majaal, Aulad, Himmat Aur Mehnat, Inquilaab, Naya Kadam, Akalmand, Balidaan, Gaair`Kanooni, Guru I am not sure about the BO verdict. Can you help? Hits

Thank you so much. So thats make the no. of hit movies of Sridevi to be more than 20! :) However, I loved her the most in her 2 flops, Sadma and Lamhe.
But even in her flop movies, watching devi's acting and her beauty was a treat to the eyes. Be a hit or flop, Lamhe will always be remembered as one of the classic movies of bollywood.
I am a big wig fan of Sridevi and very clear about the BO verdict of her popular movies like Chaalbaaz. Chaalbaaz was a major hit. Nigahein was also a hit. Khuda Gawah was a hit but I guess it was some media manipulation against Sridevi that it was declared a hit then. You can now see the BO verdict of Khuda Gawah on websites like ibos and boxofficeindia. Jaag Utha Insaan was a very good movie but not a hit.
Anyway, for me too, hit or flop doesn't matter at all when it is SRIDEVI. Lamhe and Sadma are my most favourite.
I just wanted to clarify my doubt because someone had commented on youtube that the total no. of hit movies of Sridevi was 10 and that was surprising to me. It is now clear that Sridevi had more than 20 HIT movies and that doesn't mean that the rest were all flops. A lot did above average and average business.

On those above lists,Gumrah was the film,oh my god what an acting yar...Sridevi was Sridevi on that movie....Sridevi's master of acting surprised me...Wonderful Awesome Mind blowing performance of our SRI....if she didnt received any award for that film Gumrah,i would say,our award committee should be revised again....
I dont understand what our media speculates, they always go behind dump hero and herines, they never appreated sridevi as she is capable of,i think sri is all time sexy, beautiful, best actress,good dancing with excellent expression,and more then tat she acted in many telugu, tamil, and malayalam languages with her own voice, i think nobody in india has that capabilitynot even Amitabachan Aamirkan, or sharukh khan.Ask them to speak single line in telugu, tamil, or malayalam . but todays media never speaks about Sridevi . they say Bipasha,prianka kareena etc . But bipasha never looked sexy, no acting skills , she looks like WWF men with big boobs , male face without any expressions like her boy friend John

sadma,joshilay,main tera dushman,banzaraan,heer ranza,asman se gira,Chand ka tukda,The Great Robbery,Roop ki Rani Choran ki Raja,Naya kadam are flop movies.lamhe is block buster hit in UK but flop in India.
I think Sridevi is one and only one biggest actress in India.She is acting in Hindi,Malayalam,Tamil and Telugu languages.Sridevi is one and only one altime beautiful biggest popular actress in India.
sri devi ruled in the industry 1983 to 1989 with uncountable hits but 1990 to 1997 she deleiverd only 1 hit judaai (1997) after 8 year. she deleivered memorable performances in the films like lamhe,khuda gawah ,laadla but commercially former 2 were huge flops
Laadla is upgraded to superhit by box office india few weeks ago, which it was in the time of its release. English vinglish is a solid hit by trade anylyst vinod miirani, taran adarsh of Bollywood hungama. Khudah gawah did blockbuster collection theoretically, but cost was high so it broke even.
Undoubtedly India's greatest female actor - Sridevi personified the meaning of success, the abundance of talent, grace and beauty. We need to see more of her.

HAHK, DTPH, Beta, Khalnayak, Sajan, Devdas - Sridevi has nothing that compares to box office records of these films
madhuri can't shoulder a hit on her own. With Sridevi..dude sridevi can do anything even if the actor is invisible. She is pure delight to watch. I wasn't born at the time when she was acting LAMHE. But it's eched in my heart.
